There is a new concept for accommodations in Duchess!
We are under new ownership and have transformed into the Duchess Village Suites. We offer long term rentals and shorter stays. All our renovated rooms have kitchenettes, single queen or double beds, and come furnished or unfurnished. A wheel chair accessible room is also available.
We are located in the heart of Badlands Tourism Country, and downtown in the Village of Duchess (10 minutes’ drive from Brooks, AB). Conveniences are under a minute’s walk away from Duchess Village Suites: Prairie Cottage Bakeshop, Outback Country Kitchen, Duchess Restaurant, Duchess Hotel lounge, Knotty Korner Hair Design, the Whistle Stop Convenience store, Alberta Prairie Meats. The Duchess School and the Duchess Recreation Centre is a five minutes’ walk away. A coin operated laundry facility is located right next door to us.
The renowned Dinosaur Provincial Park, Kinbrook Island, the Rolling Hills Reservoir, the Brooks Aqueduct, and the Bassano Dam are all within a half hour’s drive from the Duchess Village Suites.
